Now that I’ve completed all of my work in the aft fuselage (radio, ELT, rudder/stabilator/mixer connections, it’s finally time to install the final major component of the entire airframe… the aft fuselage floor:
It has been almost exactly 3 years since I fitted the aft fuselage floor to the aft fuselage, so I was a bit nervous that it would still fit correctly!
Thankfully, it did fit right into place as before! I was able to cleco it in place without issue, then bolt and rivet it into place. Other than working upside down, and some hard-to reach bolts at the splice plates to the forward fuselage, I couldn’t be happier with the final fitment. All major parts of the airframe are now installed!
