Total build time: 211 hours.

Now that I have my skins polished, it’s time to rivet together the remainder of the empennage.

I then clecoed the stabilators to the aft fuselage and installed my new parts to check fitment.

Just getting to the skinning of the stabilator skeltons and find that the skin is interferred with by the Hokey Stick on the top side. The phantom drawing on the plan, page WIX T108, shows pleanty of clearance, but it does not. Careful measuring shows the skin along the front spar to be the correct length. I cut a small notch in the skin to accomadate the hockey stick’s interferance. Did I screw up?

The stabilator skins are actually specific to left/right, even though they look very similar. Try swapping skins and see if the fit is better.
